November 9, 2016/2017.
The Movilfirst Institution arrives in Havana (Cuba) to officially present its festival and parallel activities to be carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the country, over a year, from November 2016 to the same month of 2017.

After the official presentation of the festival, the first “Days of films made with mobile” and the “Photographic Routes” workshop were developed, where attendees learn to discover, through their mobile phones, the most relevant and curious details of their closest environment and many times more unknown. The activity is held from November 7 to 14, 2016, in collaboration with the Canarian Association of Havana, in whose auditorium are projected works presented in previous editions, where fans of films shot with mobile devices have the opportunity to view them on the big screen.

These activities are added to those made, in a tour of the “Instituto Cervantes” of Eastern Europe in an international call of great prestige, where the best mobile cinema projects with Spanish flavor are selected.

The conference was attended by the director of the International Festival Movilfirst, Sandra Gonzalez, dedicating one of the days to the screening of Mobile Films shot in the Canary Islands, where is the HQ of Movilfirst Festival.

Every day, short films from different countries will be screened in the following programming:

Day 1 Introduction. Palmares Edition I

Day 2 Mobile Films shot in the Canary Islands + workshop

Day 3 Mobile Films. Documentary + workshop

Day 4 Palmares Edition II + workshop
